Providing the Ideal Treatment Experience To Our Patients and Their Loved Ones

Family Program

Working Toward Healing & Long-Term Addiction Recovery

Addiction is a disease that affects the entire family. One family member may be the one struggling with drug addiction and/or alcohol addiction, but the effects of substance abuse often reach beyond the user and can have a negative impact on the lives of their loved ones. Because of this, we believe that it is incredibly important to work with the entire family during the recovery process.

At Acceptance Recovery Center, we know that the probability of long-term recovery significantly increases when the whole family is involved and has the tools to assist in the recovery. When you send a loved one to Acceptance Recovery Center, you will be included in the treatment process as much as possible. Therapists provide weekly phone sessions with patients and their families.

Once patients have acclimated and progressed in their initial treatment, families will be invited to participate in a two-day intensive program which includes group and family therapy sessions. In these sessions, families are provided the opportunity to learn and work to reestablish emotionally rich and meaningful healthy relationships. Families also are provided the opportunity for an individual session in which they are provided guidance and feedback to improve themselves moving forward and learn how to maintain healthy boundaries and foster sustained recovery.
