Medical Staff:Dr. Greg Gale, MD
Dr. Greg Gale has been practicing and providing leadership in the field of psychiatry, substance use, and integrated care in the Phoenix metropolitan area for over 11 years.
He joins us from his role as a national medical director overseeing behavioral health, substance use, and integrated care services for Humana Behavioral Health. Previously, he was CMO and VP of Clinical Services at Partners in Recovery, a not-for-profit behavioral health and substance use service organization, which operates five clinics throughout Maricopa County.
Highly Skilled & Extensively Experienced
He spearheaded the first integrated physical and behavioral/substance SMI (serious mentally ill) private practice care delivery program in Maricopa County and the first Arizona state-licensed dual integrated physical and behavioral/substance use health clinic. Prior to this role, he served in a Medical Director role at ValueOptions and Magellan Health Services (contracted managed behavioral health organization in Maricopa County), which are both leading national behavioral health managed care organizations.
He originally moved to Arizona after gaining experience as Chief of Psychiatry and Medical Director at a Community Hospital in San Francisco and working as a staff psychiatrist in a not-for-profit multi-disciplinary group practice in Berkeley, California. He completed his residency program at Harvard Medical School (Harvard Longwood) in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his medical education at Northwestern University in Chicago.
